Hey Ebb Tide peoples,
What's up with the sugar packets?
Saturday and Sunday mornings are bad enough because I probably havent slept yet, and it takes all my personal strength and concentration to open lots of those little packets for my coffee, not to mention the extra trash and mess it creates. Would it be possible to put sugar canisters on each table?

Thu, October 2, 2003 - 12:41 PMWhy me – I don’t even put sugar in my coffee – I just want Beerios added to the menu!
Plus I’m a little afraid of Thrifttown jugs for Ebbtide sugar, I mean I know you can sterilize ‘em, but what if they’re haunted by broken dreams and the spirits of the damned.
Oh speaking of Thriftown the suit in Mici’s picture is from there.

Re: Sugar Packets
Thu, October 2, 2003 - 1:22 PMI bristle at the implications – I am not sexual attracted to urban environments, architecture or systems.
Plus isn’t metrosexuality really just a way to broaden the marker for Taso Elba half boots, nail polish, bronzer, pricey gel and white leather belts?
Like everything else at the EbbTide I’d suggest the sugar canisters should be rather industrial – have Laird grind clean some old industrial parts from ABC. -

Re: Sugar Packets
Fri, October 3, 2003 - 1:35 AMThe problem with stuff we put on the tables is, people take it home with them. True the penis shaped salt and pepper shakers were probably irresistable, but we used ot have about 6 big sugar shakers and one for cocoa, and now we have one.
Also we prefer utensils from thrift town. Makes one feel more at home if everything doesn't match.
