      green onions are great in ANY breakfast dish, dinner dish, or other dish. not pancakes. but maybe crepes.

  I like green onions. But sometimes they are used copiously as a garnish on breakfast and ruin perfectly good plain scrambled eggs. Green onions should garnish things like chilaquiles and eggs ranchero. But on plain scrambled eggs, to quote a mutual friend, "No Way!"
  
  You know what's good, though? Pretty much anything sauteed with green onions and lemon grass, eg. Shannon's ass. Which I have never looked at once, I swear, maybe her chest, hanging over a breakfast of green onions with a side of egg, but not her ass.
