this weekend, we deep fried (some with batter and some without):
bacon on a stick
twinkies wrapped in bacon
snickers wrapped in bacon
and other non-bacon deep-fryer developments.
c'mon Ebb Tide, get with the times! Where is your deep-fryer?

Re: breaking bacon technology
Sun, October 19, 2003 - 7:50 PMDear Sir-
Thank you for your technology alert.
It has come to our attention that the entire staff of Ebbtide will walk out the day they are foced to work with a deep fat frier in a closed environment. On the other hand, deep fried bacon couldn't possibly hold us more enthralled. We strongly encourage you to bring your own frier and park it just outside the door, wafting its enticing air juices streetway and gurggling with a satisfying sizzle. Many patrons may wish to enhance their food experience with deep-fry-it-yourself-ability. Elsewise, may we direct you to the Taco Bell up the street, oh wait, they went out of business because none of their workers wanted to work in a smelly kitchen either.
